My name is Matthew Berelson, and I’m a South Florida-based photographer specializing in automotive photography, from high end luxury cars to passion fueled enthusiast builds. I create striking, cinematic images that highlight the soul of machines and the stories behind them.

Photography has always been part of my life. As a kid, I was constantly sneaking off with my dad’s camera, capturing planes in the sky and cars on the street. It wasn’t until later in life, though, when I started photographing cars seriously, that I truly fell in love with the craft.

My father is a hobbyist photographer, and my grandfather was a freelance pro as well as hobbyist. I guess you could say it's in my blood. I'm proud to carry the passion forward. capturing the beauty of the world around us, the people in it, and the machines that move us.

Whether I’m shooting editorial-style features, social content for car brands, or custom portraits for private collectors, I aim to deliver images that are as bold and dynamic as the vehicles themselves.

While my heart beats fastest for petrol-powered machines, my skills extend far beyond automotive photography. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to shoot everything from portraits and events to lifestyle content, commercial work, and even product photography.

My approach stays the same no matter the subject: clean, bold, storytelling-focused imagery that connects. Whether I’m capturing a custom build, a brand campaign, or a family moment, I bring the same level of care, creativity, and professionalism to every project.

Outside of photography, I spend as much time as I can surfing, freediving, fishing, or just soaking up the salt and sun. That connection to nature fuels my creativity and keeps me grounded.

Whether I’m 60 feet underwater or hanging out of the back of my car shooting rollers, I bring the same passion, patience, and perspective to every shot.
